Marie Brizard peach syrup adds peachy punch to this Irish-accented Mule. Powered by whiskey, it’s still packed with plenty of ginger notes, which go nicely with the stone fruit. Sláinte!

IGC Hospitality

MarketWatch Features IGC Hospitality in Rethinking Vodka

“Vodka is like my own personal Magic School Bus,” says Will Benedetto, director of bars for New York City-based In Good Company Hospitality. “I love working with it because it’s my vehicle to explore all sorts of flavors and bring them to people—it’s so familiar to most that it makes esoteric ingredients more approachable.” Benedetto’s Dirty Martini ($17) at In Good Company venue The Wilson in New York City is his own take on a classic, blending olive-infused Grey Goose vodkaKrogstad aquavit, and Martini & Rossi Extra Dry and Riserva Speciale Ambrato vermouths.

The Wilson Uproxx

Uproxx Features The Wilson in Best Flavored Vodkas Actually Worth Drinking

Rich Depascale, beverage manager at The Wilson in New York City Can’t say I do much in the way of vodka in general, especially not flavored vodka. I’ve always been a fan of Hangar 1 flavors. Their Mandarin Blossom does not taste like artificial flavoring like most flavored vodkas do and is a clean drink every time. Not to mention they also have one of only a few female head distillers in the game. You have to respect that.

Uproxx Features Refinery Rooftop in Best Flavored Vodkas Actually Worth Drinking

Alli Torres, bartender at Refinery Rooftop in New York City I didn’t want to give into this trend so much, but the Ketel One’s botanical flavors are absolutely delicious. The Grapefruit & Rose is my current summer fling because it’s so light and refreshing in a spritz or on the rocks. Recently, I did a cocktail with Ketel One Grapefruit & Rose, Aperol, pamplemousse, muddled cucumber, fresh lime, and a pinch of sea salt — topped with prosecco.

Uproxx Features Park Avenue Tavern In Best Flavored Vodkas Actually Worth Drinking

Kelly McGee, beverage manager at Park Avenue Tavern in New York City I’m a personal fan of the Crop Cucumber Vodka. It is especially refreshing in the summer months. It doesn’t have that artificial cucumber taste which some of the flavored vodkas have. I love it mixed with seltzer … delicious and refreshing.

TMK Old Fashioned

Uproxx Features Trademark Taste + Grind in The Most Underrated Whiskeys On The Market

Mariel Burns, head bartender at Trademark Taste + Grind in New York City Although it’s definitely a popular brand, I think Maker’s Mark is underrated against some of the flashier distilleries out there. They don’t make many varieties of whiskey, but they make consistently delicious and flavorful juice full on the palate with a soft finish. Maker’s Mark is a solid choice whether you’re having an Old Fashioned, a sour or neat.
