In this holiday recipe from Refinery Rooftop’s Nick Rini, a quick infusion lends a touch of Halloween flavor to a classic sour. Infusions sound difficult, but are nothing to be scared of. In this case, a cup of candy corn is added to a bottle of Spring Vodka and left overnight. (Be sure to strain out any candy particles.)
“I really like to take things people think are really sweet and make them sexy, especially during Halloween when everything is candied,” bartender Nick Rini says. “This drink is a play on a vodka gimlet but with candy corn-infused vodka that I make.”
