Forbes Features Mondrian Terrace in Celebrate Negroni Week With These Recipes

“While Sbagliato is translated as ‘mistaken’ there’s nothing wrong with this Negroni variation,” Spencer Elliott at the Mondrian Terrace says. “Using sparkling rosé for Prosecco and an age old Martini & Rossi bitter, this is the best mistake you’ll make all day. “

Making this drink is almost as easy as drinking it. Mix one ounce each of Martini & Rossi bitter red vermouth with sweet vermouth in a wine glass, then top with sparkling rosé wine. Garnish orange oil and a fresh orange wedge.

Eater Features Bungalow Bar in 5 Restaurants to Try This Weekend in NYC

For a waterside meal at Rockaway Beach: My first trip to Rockaway Beach was a bit premature — despite it being sunny, the wind chill was still too cold for my Floridian self to sunbathe. The crispy bird was topped with tangy slaw and pickles, plus hot honey and bacon butter — and it was huge. Live music was added to the mix for a pleasant afternoon away from the city. 377 Beach 92nd St., Rockaway Beach — Carla Vianna, reporter
