IDK Tonight Features Trademark’s Aperitivo Bar

PLAN DETAILS:
The folks behind Parker & Quinn and Refinery Rooftop (two of our absolute favorite picks for views and great food) also run Trademark Taste and Grind. Tonight is a two-parter in one space — easy and dynamic. First, Trademark has just introduced a new post-work experience called Aperitivo Bar. On Wednesdays through Fridays from 5-8 p.m., the front bar focuses on three fabulous drinks at a great price: Negroni, Aperol Spritz, and Rose Sangria. Aperitivo is Italian for “drinking after work” — we’re in. Make sure to say hi to the mastermind behind both the drink concoctions and the bar, Will.

Afterward, since we know you’re probably hungry by now, you can either stay up front and order food to the bar, or head to the back and grab a table for two in the restaurant section of Trademark. The menu, created by Chef Jeffrey Haskell, features amazing dishes like burrata & knots—homemade burrata and garlic knots served with tomato jam and roasted garlic—and a fried chicken sandwich with spicy honey, soppressata, aioli, and slaw. We also highly recommend starting with the Caesar.

After dinner, consider grabbing one more drink. We love their signature coffee cocktail made with Four J’s Coffee.

Time Out Features Bungalow Bar In The absolute best restaurants and bars in the Rockaways

Bungalow Bar
The closest thing to tropical beach vibes might be at this bayside bar, set with an outdoor deck, tiki bar, live music and weekend DJ sets. Enjoy seafood appetizers like baked clams, crab cakes and tequila shrimp, or just settle in with a cocktail as you watch the sun set over the water.

OpenTable Features Park Avenue Tavern In Top Restaurants in and Around Grand Central Terminal

Park Avenue Tavern
train delay is the perfect excuse to check out Park Avenue Tavern’s late night menu, especially Jason’s ribeye sliders with black garlic mayo, Comte cheese, and crispy maitake, plus an order of sea salt and vinegar tater tots with miso ranch dressing, naturally. Around dinner time, regulars trek here for one of Uncle Pat’s burgers, including one made for vegetarians but that even die-hard carnivores love: the quinoa veggie burger with burrata, oven-dried tomatoes, and arugula pesto. Grab a seat at the island bar in the center of the restaurant or one of the much-coveted booths lining the walls beneath copper trimmings. Make a reservation at Park Avenue Tavern.

The Best Frosé in NYC: Refinery Rooftop
The frosé at Refinery’s rooftop bar is blended for a cause. Right now, proceeds from their citrus-infused frosé sales will benefit Manhattan’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center (the benefiting charity will change for August). This midtown rooftop bar attracts crowds, which is understandable for the fabulous views, cute decor, and winning menu of lunch items and bar snacks. 63 W. 38th St., refineryhotelnewyork.com
