Social Media Survival Kit: Tools for the greatest return on your social media investment

This class is for entrepreneurs who are already using social media and looking to solidify their direction, or are planning to integrate their social strategy with existing or upcoming marketing and advertising efforts. We will focus on forming and procuring your overall message with quality content, finding and engaging in relevant conversations, expanding your network, and identifying viral vs. static content. There will also be an overview on how to procure and plan your content publishing, schedule updates, and manage your time wisely for efficiency and the best return on investment.
Ingrid Alvarez is a multimedia consultant, educator and artist with an influence in digital PR and social media marketing and advertising. Originally from Seattle, Washington, Ingrid grew up with the internet and has over 12 years’ experience in design, marketing and working with the public, which blossomed from her career as an artist. Ingrid received her B.A. in Interdisciplinary Visual Arts and a certificate in Web Design from the University of Washington. In 2005, her interests in technology, community, and empowering business owners led her to start consulting and teaching classes in design, marketing, blogging and SEO. She has since consulted dozens of small to mid-sized businesses and coached clients one-on-one in Seattle and New York.
