In this 60 to 90 minute workshop, personal branding strategist Pamela Weinberg provides a step-by-step program to teach professionals how to build and communicate their personal brand. The most confident and successful executives are those who know how to leverage what makes them stand out from the competition. Participants will come away with a multitude of techniques to help them to unearth and acknowledge their strengths, talents and point-of-difference, ultimately leading them to build the strongest Personal Brand. Workshop elements include:
- Defining Your Current Brand
- Crafting a goal-oriented Personal Mission Statement
- Doing your own Personal Public Relations
- Developing relationships with Experts
- Utilizing Social Media to Expand your Contacts and Reach
- Monitoring your Brand
Pamela Weinberg, an independent career coach and Adjunct Instructor in career management at NYU-SCPS, will facilitate the workshop. In her role as a coach, Pamela assists clients with their job searches, resumes and provides resources to help them find the job they want.
Pamela has developed a niche in personal branding and speaks frequently on the topic. She works with clients to expand their job searches, and to build their personal brands through social media (i.e. Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin) as well as through personal public relations and networking. Pamela is a co-founder of the organization Mind Your Own Business Moms (MYOBmoms.com) which is a business dedicated to helping moms return to the workplace.
