Best thing about working for yourself?
I love having the final say in the decision-making process.

Worst thing about working for yourself?
I am not a big fan of having very tight budgets to work with in order to execute an idea.

Why did you start your business?
I am petite woman and was not able to find shoes in my size because they are at the extreme of the sizing scale and many brands and retailers have cut them out of their size runs to be more efficient.

When did you start to think of yourself as an entrepreneur?
I started thinking of myself as an entrepreneur as soon as I started making solid plans to start the business. However, this is far from thinking that I am a “good” entrepreneur, so it is still very scary.

How do you relax?
I travel, seeing different people and cultures helps keep things in perspective. Although it’s not often, just once a year out of the country provides enough relaxation for the next year.

What is something that you are known for?
I am known for working long hours without hesitation. I am proud of my work ethic.

What’s a business that you think is interesting or inspiring?
Apple, I am inspired by their attention to design, not just functionality and that is something that many companies have forgotten about or sacrificed in the product development process.
