During the course of our book writing process last year, we had a really great interview with Allison Hemming founder of The Hired Guns at her very cool office space, dubbed “The Hive”. There was lots to be learned from her experience as an entrepreneur and from her work with independent creative talent. Here’s one piece that stuck out:
“Make sure to have your business checkbook separate from your personal checkbook as soon as you can. Otherwise it is too easy to forget to pay yourself; it’s too easy to forget that your time has value.”
-Allison Heming
Top gun and founder, The Hired Guns, a talent agency located in Manhattan.
