We had met Jennifer Walzer, CEO of Backup My Info!, years ago at a conference and had followed her success since then. We also read her posts on the New York Times blog – “You’re the boss”. We were thrilled to take a trip to her office and catch up with her. Here are a few things we learned:

Adelaide – I loved how Jennifer talked about the role of passion in her business. Jennifer is a second time entrepreneur and she sold first business, in part, because she wasn’t passionate enough about it. Both businesses were initially intriguing because of the market opportunity that they presented, but BackupMyInfo! is something that she is really passionate about.

Amy – I was intrigued that something Jennifer has found surprising (and rewarding) is how much she enjoys managing her staff and helping to cultivate their growth and the corporate culture, and how meaningful it is for her.
