Interview Tidbit: Allison Hemming, The Hired Guns

The Hired Guns

We are long time fans of Allison Hemming and her company The Hired Guns. She has created such a terrific community and brand. We were lucky to get to visit her in The Hired Guns’ new (since we had last been there) gorgeous offices…those lucky employees have a beautiful work environment. Aside from some decorating ideas, here are some things we left thinking about:

Adelaide – I love that Allison said that there is no expiration date on good ideas, which can come as a relief to lots of entrepreneurs who feel the need to do it all at once! I also really liked that she says that her community has built the company – that is very much how we feel at IGC!

Amy – I am so inspired by how Allison looked at an industry (recruiting) and saw that the system was not working for any party involved (jobseekers, companies, recruiters) so she took a business model from another industry (Hollywood Talent Management) and decided to both disrupt and innovate the system by creating a new way of doing business. What a pioneer!

Thank you, Allison!
