We were happy to have a chance to connect with Lunden DeLeon owner of Dirrty Records, a punk rock label. Here are some things we learned from the conversation:

Adelaide – I thought it was interesting that as time went on, Lunden went from a more specialized and specific role to taking on more varied jobs and straying outside her comfort zone. She feels really strongly that you should understand all parts of your business very well.

Amy – I was struck by Lunden’s ability to stick to her guns and continue being the punk rock label that she had envisioned, despite other people’s suggestions and insistence that she branch out into other genres such as hip hop.
